Over the recent years, the airline management has shown limited attention to airline disruption cost, which actually has a true value.

Disruption cost cannot be part of prior planning, as it is always an unpredictable event. Therefore, a provision is needed to deal with and anticipate the event before it has occurred. The aim for any airline is to minimize the direct as well as the indirect loss, when disruption in the operation occurs.

Unfortunately losses always occur. It is therefore necessary to have – or to obtain – the expertise and knowledge of how to minimize a loss and how to obtain maximum compensation, as well as establishing a set of preventive measures.

Situation as well as circumstance varies from case to case, as well as jurisdiction from one country to another. A professional assessment of a given case and consequent claim recovery strategy will minimize loss and have a direct impact on the bottom line of a company’s economy.

In reality, the recovery already begins when a contract is negotiated with a third party.

Very few airlines have as of yet realized the gravity of handling claims, because the cases are few and the expertise difficult to come by. If the insurance of the company is not involved, the company is often left on its own regarding claim and recovery due.

Aviation Care Consulting – Has as a long history and excellent experience in how to deal with and take care of the entire process, from the very beginning and until recovery had been solved.
